Typically bolognese is made with beef and/or pork. Moose meat however is terrific because of the taste and its low content of fat (lower than 3 %). I get it frozen from the supermarket and I really love it! If you find it, you should give it a try!

Traditionally spaghetti bolognese include onion, carrot and celery. I added onion but not carrot or celery for this one, but then I guess this recipe isn't very traditional anyways. I also use apple cider vinegar instead of the traditional red wine. 

Now here is the recipe with homemade bolognese sauce that is good for both tastebuds and body. So throw away that readymade bolognese jar and lets cook!
