Prosciutto egg muffins

A simpler and tastier breakfast than these Prosciutto di Parma egg muffins will be hard to come up with.

The unique flavours of the Parma cheese, the Prosciutto and the thyme all goes very well together. And you can never go wrong with eggs for breakfast! So simple, yet so delicious!

Egg muffins with Prosciutto di Parma

Ingredients
main ingredients
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 slice Prosciutto di Parma ham
season to taste
  • salt
  • pepper
  • thyme
  • Parmesan cheese shaved
Servings: Bite
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 200°C
  2. Take out a muffin pan
  3. Line the edges with the ham
  4. Lightly beat an egg, season with salt and pepper and pour in the hole with the ham
  5. Bake for about 15-20 minutes (better undercooked than overcooked in my opinion)
  6. Take the muffin out of the oven and while still hot, shave some parmesan over and season with thyme
